Bonn, Germany. After blistering heat (35C) over the weekend, this morning started at 22C, but with humidity over 95%. We have severe thunderstorm and persistent rain warnings. So far we've had an hour of rain, of which only 10 minutes (the 10 min when I was walking to work) was torrential. My socks haven't yet finished drying out. All around on the radar is a big black (not even dark blue) blob. Us, we're in the eye of the storm and things are dry.

Hot weather last week (34° on Thursday) and after all kinds of storm warnings, we had a bit of rain yesterday evening. Right now there are lots of gray clouds blowing from the north, with occasional sunshine. 24° at 1pm. It is supposed to heat up again starting tomorrow or Wednesday.
Mostar,BiH.
Fairly warm though not very sunny (it never seems to be sunny here..I was looking for photos of the bridge with the sun on it,and all of them are cloudy ;-).Maybe 25° or so....
A cool place, very interesting history, good food (if you like meat, meat and more meat),great coffee, and we found a really nice hostel/B&B...also the small villages around are very pretty.

Luca, I have photos of the bridge with the sun on it, taken in May of 2006. At the time I was told it got very hot in Mostar in the summer.

Lauwerzijl, Netherlands, like Bonn. Only some steady rain all day, only 10 mm. Preparing for mudwalking.
Going up to the early thirties in the day, early to mid twenties at night, and humid, though there is a cool breeze seaside. It's perpetually cloudy so can't really differentiate between morning, afternoon or evening.

No change in temperatures but each afternoon now dark grey clouds from the north to the south with some raindrops for short moments. It's a strange summer in the Provence this year.
