Thanks bjd, It's not the final direction where Heliair Monaco comes down and what is very nice, there is no runway with light on and nothing goes on in the evening and night (or when it rains). Btw, no Camelias but hundrets of Mimosa trees wherever you look..

Nice to know that in just a few months I'll be complaining about constant sun and heat.

Actually, today should be the second of 3 sunny days in a row. And we've broken the 10-degree temperature barrier! But no wind, so still hazy and thus, no mountains in the background out the window.
I like mountains. From a distance. They're pretty. Up close and personal, they're a bit...steep.

In the Swiss Alps, it snwoed down up to about 600 metres Saturday night. But Sunday and Monday were so sunny that all these snow went away again. Snow limit on sunny slopes (Crans-Montana, Valais, etc.) 1200-1400 metres, in the shade(Spiez, Bernese Oberland etc.) 800-1000 metres.

Between 4 and 10°, mixed weather with rain, sunshine, wind. I wrote rain but it is like a waterfall sometimes.

In the past years we always got a thermic shock when arrive in March in Berlin as the difference was 20°. Today no need to move. We have less 5° in the night,at 3 o'clock, plus 15° 12 hours later here in the middle of la Provence and of course snow on all hills in the surroundings. What's wrong?
