| mickstace18:25 UTC15 Jul 2007 | Hi Guys,
The chances of finding accomodation in munich Oktoberfest time without spending our holiday savings are pretty much none existent.... So unless anyone can help my wife and I somehow find some accomodation in Munich which i think will be impossible, i need to come up with another plan..
We fly into munich the night of friday 21 September (7am) for 2 nights, leaving Munich at 7.30am on the morning of Sunday 23rd of September.
Does anyone recommend a town near Munich that would have cheapish accomodation and a train line that connects to the airport. I guess as long as we can arrange to get to the airport by 6am to check in we would be fine, even if the town is approx 1 hour away..
Hope you can help and look forward to hearing from you..

you can take the S-Bahn or a train (20-45 minutes). You might find something cheaper there.
