LOURDES

visited lourdesjust for something to do. stopped of at the VIRGINIA motel for lunch. superb meal and service price most reasonable as bonus. lourdes has many old dwellings but the cathedral. surrounds resemble a flea market. not quite in line with what one would expect for major tourist destination. if you have been to borough markets in london UK or padys in sydney . victoria in melbourne you will not be surprised. same stuff just diff pics on postcards etc.

Lourdes has been a nice little earner ... taking from the true believers ... for a very long time.

I like going to the Victoria Market in Melbourne most weeks, but I don't expect miracles!

Lourdes was and is not a real tourist destination and for sure not know for his open markets.

well aware ? what lourdes represents. but told some senior ladies i play cards with would stop over to get them a souvanire or two. however the district quite nice to tour around. the cathedral in lourdes, is quite spetacularit is one busy place for sure . well set up for those with mobility issues. unike france in general
