Long Term Accommodation Oct - FebCountry forums / Western Europe / Greece
Hi their. I guess the header tells you half the story. The rest is basically, seeking advice on any place, on any Island, or the mainland, offering monthly self catering rates around the 200/250 euros mark.

You would need to have much more thought & info before anyone could give good advice on this. Why, what is the aim of your stay, what sort of place do you like, what do you want to do etc etc. Many islands are pretty much closed & empty during the winter. Those only served by small tourist ferries can be close to cut off for weeks on end.... is this what you want? or do you want to be near lively cities, banks, hospitals, tourists etc. Do you speak Greek? How do you feel about snow for instance? Most flights are via Athens only in winter. There are many holiday apartments & villas which lie empty in the winter, these are often available cheaply on a longer closed-season basis, but I would recommend you find out if there is any heating. you could apply to small villa rental agencies, asking them for winter availability, or peruse the local regional Greek newspapers. Airbnb is certainly popular & you could ask the owner for a long-term rate etc. | 2
