| sea_urchin09:47 UTC04 Apr 2007 | Hi,
we have a villa for one week near Siena.... Our main question is whether it is possible (in your opinon) to travel from Siena to Milan, return a rental car and still get to Lipanta airport by 14.50?
How soon, in your opinion, would we have to leave Siena to make this flight (easyjet) to London on Sept. 8?
It looks do-able, but we are really not au fait when it comes to travel/check-in/etc./ times.
Your advice will be much appreciated.
P.S. We would like to go from Italy to Istanbul(air), but most direct flights (from Rome, Milan, Pisa) are very expensive. The lesser expensive flight normally go to Frankfurt, Vienna, Zurich or even London before heading off to London.
* We are not adverse to taking train or ferry... just looking for a reasonably fast trip at a decent price...
Cheers,
urchin

As for Italy to Turkey, no low-cost carriers fly from Italy to Turkey AFAIK. But you can try and find semi-decent fares on regular carriers using a good airfare search engine, such as this one orthis one.
