We;re thinking of Seville (defintely), Toledo, Gibraltar, Granada, Ronda and maybe Cordoba.

Those are 5 or 6 destinations for only 7 (full?) days. I think they are too many destinations for your amount of time. Therefore, I suggest you to cut that list.

Can anyone suggest which are the best places to visit and any tips for when we get there?

All depends on your interests. We already know you are interested in cooking classes but I assume you'll have more interests on your trip don't you? so What are you looking for? Art? Hiking? Wildlife? Museums?

I hope the OP does not mean Estonia as in the country (near Finland)!!!

Sorry OP I've never heard of Esotonia either, and, more importantly, neither has Mr Google.

Is it Estapona by any chance? If so the likes of Ronda etc are within driving distance but like #1 says you can't really do justice to all these places with just one week.

By the way you said you are going with your daughter. People might have more idea of advice to give if they knew what your ages are. Advice to a pair of 55/30 year olds is likely to be different to that to a pair of 30/10 year olds.

Hi so sorry I haven't responded, life got in the way. I plead temporary insanity with the lack of information in my prior post.

I am 55 and will be traveling with my 27 year old daughter. We are staying in ESTEPONA not too far from Marbella which people are more commonly familiar with.

We have rented a car to get around and are looking for recommendations of the best towns to visit. As much as we'd love to spend a few days in each place, we're only able to do day trips so will have to pick and choose what we do in each place.

Culture and art is definitely important. We've been doing some research and are familiar with the main attractions ie Alhambra in Granada. We are looking for recommendations of favorite towns to visit so we can narrow down our choices as well as hidden gems that can't be found in tour books...whether it be a restaurant, shop or any local attraction. We're also definitely interested in seeing a Flamenco show if anyone can recommend a good one. We're thinking of doing that in Seville but are open to other suggestions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think you have to think again about your plans. You can't make Toledo as a daytrip from Estepona. Simply, too far away. A daytrip to Sevilla is definitely too short so you'll have to choose carefully what do you want to make there. A daytrip to Granada isn't enough either. I wouldn't make Gibraltar as a daytrip from Estepona. Sevilla, Granada and Córdoba are more than 200 km. away from Estepona by car so it takes some time to get there and all those cities are really interesting...

Any reccomendations of things to do in those areas would be great. We're definitely interested in booking a flamenco show the night we stay in Seville.

All depends on the queue on the border... Anyway, I didn't say you can't make Gibraltar as a daytrip, I said I wouldn't make it.

Because I live in inland Andalucia I have driven to Gibraltar several times. You need to add about 1 hour each way for crossing the border. No, it will not necessaily take that long, but it might and you need to build that into your plans.

For other travel from and back to Estepona, use http://www.viamichelin.co.uk/ You need to be aware that some driving journeys from Estepona can be quite taxing for the driver and are not to be taken lightly.

I would also add that, for tourists at least, the word "flamenco" can mean several very different things. You need to indicate what are you looking for and in what price range.
