Group accommodation in Amsterdam

Country forums / Western Europe / Netherlands

There could be a few of us going to Amsterdam in February so I’m looking for accommodation that will take a group. Either a hostel with a mixture of dorms and private rooms, a large apartment, or a b&b/hotel.

Sorry to be vague, but I’ve no idea how many just yet – although I’m imagining around 12 people… combo of couples and singles – late 20s early 30s.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Hi

You have to be a bit careful in Amsterdam actually with group accommodation – many hostels and hotels will not take bookings for more than six people at a time because they are concerned about damage and noise levels as the city is so popular for stag and hen weekends.
Seeing as you are an older group, you shouldn’t have a problem – I think hostel booking sites like hostelbookers.com or hostels.com have a group department that can help find you somewhere nice (and within the budget you specify) or negotiate for a place you like to take more people.

Hope it helps!
