| syoung20:14 UTC02 Jun 2007 | I just returned from a great trip. I have two items I'd like to get rid of at no particular monetary benefit to myself. I'm about to move across the country and they'd be more useful in other hands.
Please don't claim this stuff unless you have an imminent trip to Greece pending. My plan was to find the first young backpacker passing through Greece at the Athens airport and give it away, but I was in in quite the rush to get to my return flight and didn't have time.
Also since the post office is right across this street and I'm doing this as a courtesy to fellow travelers, I'm only shipping this stuff to the U.S.. Sorry, but I want to do this quickly / easily.
Cell phone: I bought the cheapest Alcatel / Cosmote pay-as-you-go phone at the Athens airport for 25 Euros. It came with 10 Euros of talk time. The last (local) call I made was interrupted with a notice saying I have about 2 minutes of talk time left. You can find Cosmote recharge cards all over the country to add more talk time. I found this thing to be extremely useful for making local calls. In my opinion it was well worth 25 Euros.
I'll send the phone, European charger, and the PIN card (which has the phone number on it) to anyone in the U.S. Sorry, but I got rid of the box and manuals.
Want it? Up for grabs for the first person to claim it in a post and send me their mailing address at pengusrex@gmail.com. You must be willing to Paypal the shipping cost to me at that email address. $10 U.S for USPS Priority service.
OTE Card: Approximately 9 Euros of talk time left on an OTE card. I'll send this via regular postage (i.e. $0.41 stamp) free of cost to the first person in the U.S. to claim it below and email me their mailing address at pengusrex@gmail.com.

| somersky03:13 UTC06 Jun 2007 | Hey, thanks for your generocity! I'm planning to be in Greece within a few weeks and I'm looking for a cell phone. Quick question--do you know if it works in other European countries? Either way, I'd like the phone. Please email me at Ms.Somers@gmail.com and I'll send my snail mail address that way and arrange for shipping.
Thanks! Tessa
