Frankfurt Airport - Daystay Hotel

Hi,

I am travelling from Brussels to Darwin Australia this summer. I have a 15 hour wait for connecting flights at Frankfurt Airport! I am looking for a daystay hotel at the airport? Anyone got any suggestions?

I can´t help you with a daystay hotel but I have two questions:

• Why not take the direct train from Brussels to Frankfurt airport? You won´t need to wait 15 hours then.
• If you HAVE TO wait why not leaving the airport and going to Frankfurt or Mainz for a sightseeing?

There is only one hotel directly at the airport in Frankfurt, the expensive Sheraton. Close by are Steigenberger Airport and Intercity Hotel. To save money you can go by commuter train S8 or S9 to Kelsterbach (just a few minutes) and take hotel Lindenhof. Check the websites frankfurt.de or frankfurt-hotels-info.de. Another option would be to go to Frankfurt town (15 minutes) or to Mainz (other direction and about 30 minutes by train). Mainz imo is nicer for some sightseeing.
