fado in lisbon

Hi guys

I'm leaving for Lisbon a week from now (hooray!) and while I'm there, I would love to experience some authentic fado in a not too expensive, not too touristy setting. Does anyone know of a good place to go? I checked out Clube de Fado, but looking at their price list, I don't know that I want to hear fado quite that badly... Any ideas? They would be much appreciated

hi Christine... last year, we went to Velho Pateo de Santana and found it very good. There were two singers during the night and they alternated sets.

It did have a tourist menu, but the food was well executed typico, the wine was good and the fado was fantastic. It's 45 euros per person, but if I remember correctly, that's all-inclusive.
