Camping in the Normandy

Hi,

can anyone tell me where to find cheap camping sites in the Normandy? Can they be found on the net or is it better to look for them when we're there?

"Campgrounds in Normandy" gives 444,000 hits on Google. If you do it in French with "campings en Normandie," you'll get 2,090,000 hits.

Or just go with "Castles et Camping" chain. They operate good camp sites around chateaux, etc.

I've found the Michelin Camping guide to be useful - it covers the who of France and I found the ratings to be reliable, from luxury sites to simple less expensive options. You may find my online article France on a Budget useful.

After nearly 3 months of constant rain in Normandy (i live here) i think you wont have any trouble finding a camping without reservation.
It's a good choice, the weather can only improve !
