Buying Dorada card

Country forums / Western Europe / Spain

I'll be travelling to Madrid on Saturday and was wondering if I can purchase a Dorada card at the railway station in Barajas airport? If not, do I buy it at the ticket desk in other stations?

Don't know for sure but I am willing to bet you can. Won't matter though because I don't think there is an Oldies discount on the Cercanía. How ever, if you are travelling on a long distancie RENFE train within, Ii think 12 hours that Cercanía is free. You can buey that ticket in Barajas, so it is likely They need to be able to sell the Dorado for you to get your viejito discount.. (I buy them also).

Great, thanks Bleen. I'm not looking for a discount on Cercania, but we will be travelling on to Zaragoza and then to San Sebastian, so the Dorada card will be worth buying.
