Depends what you want to see for me....

Based on MY interests,Rome is a hell of a lot more interesting than Vienna...of course, your interests might be completely different to mine......

Skip Vienna, fly with easyjet from Amsterdam to Rome or with ryanair from Eindhoven to Rome, proceed then according to my post 7 and you will be fine.

Expect Rome to be very busy, hot and touristy. I've never been to Vienna but I've heard good things except the cost of the place. I personally love Munich so maybe you could consider that over Vienna? A cold, German beer during the summer in a Munich Bier Garten! Does it get any better?

Barcelona and Amsterdam are very good choices in my opinion. If you're flying between cities then Skyscanner is a great website but if you want to check what trains are available that bahn.com is the one.

Seems like you'll have a good trip. Just don't rush yourself. Maybe drop one of the cities if you think it'll be a hurry.
