Hai everyone. First of all, I want to thank you for all of your feedbacks. After discussing with my wife, we decided to take another route and choose another airline. These are 4 cities that we would like to visit: Amsterdam (2 days), Vienna (2 days), Rome (3 days), Barcelona (3 days). To go from one city to another one, we are going to use the flight.

We must start with Amsterdam since the airline we took from Asia, will stop in Amsterdam. I want to ask which route is better, Amsterdam-Barcelona-Rome- Vienna or Amsterdam-Vienna-Rome-Barcelona. Will it be too many cities to visit if we only have 10 days?We had gone to Amsterdam and Rome before in 2012,but only managed to spend a day there since we were on tour. So this time we decided to go back to this city to continue exploring this city. Thanks in advance

Any suggestion is welcome. I also would like to ask what kind of budget airline that people normally use to go from one city to another cities? Since this is out first time, I also want to ask which area I should stay in each city that has easy access to go everywhere? Thank you in advance.

The order doesn't matter if you fly. It could be also Amsterdam - Rome - Barcelona - Vienna.

Between Rome and Vienna you have the option to take a night train.

Will it be too many cities to visit if we only have 10 days?

Yes, at least 1 too many.

what kind of budget airline that people normally use to go from one city to another cities?

I don't think there is one that people normally use. There are at least a dozen budget airlines in Europe. See what flies there, waht time and what cost. I think there's no budget airline between Rome and Vienna so that is one more argument for the night train.

Agree with everything #13 says , except to reference http://www.skyscanner.net for all your budget airline needs.

Also agree with #13

Too many stops, too little time in each one.Don't forget that going to and from airports, checking in and flying takes time as well.......your actual time in the city is going to be very little.

Order is not important if you are flying.

Neither is which airline..just use Skyscanner (or similar) to find the flight with the best times/prices for you.

On the 'where to stay'...with such a little time,in the centre is going to be 'best'.Preferably not far from the bus/train you are going to use to access the airport too.......(unless you want to use taxis).Hotels near the station are usually reasonably priced,in most European cities, while hotels in the 'nicer' parts of the centre are usually much more expensive.

BTW there are several cheaper airlines flying Vienna-Rome (if you decide to stick to your plan)...Fly Niki for example (which I think is Austrian) and Air Berlin for sure, maybe GermanWings too. These are maybe ''semi-budget''...not usually as cheap as Easyjet/Ryanair etc.but cheaper than full service airlines.

Thank you so much for all your feedbacks.

I think either we spend more days or i will just choose between vienna or rome. Last 2 years, I had visited Vatican City and Colloseum. Still considering which is a better option between Vienna or Rome if we finally not to extend the days and therefore will just visit 3 cities.

In June Vienna is better. There are way too many tourists in Rome during the summer. Also Vienna is less likely to be as hot as Rome in June.
