Advice on some good bars in Vienna please :).

Hey there,

I'm planning my second visit to Vienna next month, and was wondering if anyone knows of any good bars in the area. I'm sure there are tons, but on my first visit last December I never got the chance to properly experience the nightlife in Vienna. If someone can recommend somewhere quite chilled, with a great atmosphere and a good cocktail list, then I would be very grateful!

2 cocktail contenders close to each other in the very centre would be the American bar and Reiss bar...the American is small and very atmospheric with a good buzz while the Reiss is middle-agey and varies from night to night, sometimes a bit too chilled, perhaps...both are not inexpensive but if you're up for a cocktail within the Ring then so be it...

Try the Caffe Latte in the Neubaugasse (7th district), They have happy hour from 6-8 p.m. and cocktails for EUR 4,50. Sunday is happy hour all night long.
Don't expect too much from the waiters, though.
