A week in Greece

Hi,

We are going to Greece for 8 days and 7 nights in 10 days time with our 2 kids. Could you suggest a good itinerary. We plan on going to an island(kids!!) and a historical place. Any help is appreciated.

Crete is the best combination of both. Better clima from the rest of Greece especially in the south of Crete at this time of the year. Historical places, Knossos in the North (very near to Heraclion) and Phaestos in the South .Crete though even 8 days is not enough to explore but still for 8 days there are a lot you can do and see. On the 7th of this month temperatures will be 26 C check here

If you are flying to Athens,then Mykonos is your best bet.All of Greece is kid friendly everywhere will probably be open and Delos is superb.Good beaches,and my wife and I found the gay commmunity there charming.The town is like a rabbkit warren the kids will love getting lost
