This is absolutely do-able if you choose your three German cities carefully, so as to minimise travel time between those cities. Might I suggest the following: Prague - Görlitz - Berlin - Lübeck - Amsterdam. That would give you an interesting range of German cities. Görlitz is less well known, but absolutely one of the most picture perfect towns in central Europe. Well worth a visit, but in truth not perhaps a stop to justify three days. So you could use one of those Görlitz days to make a day trip by train from Görlitz to Dresden and back. Alternatively you could go Prague - Dresden - Berlin - Lübeck - Amsterdam, and use a day in Dresden to make a day trip to Görlitz and back. Berlin needs no extra comment, surely. Lübeck I'd strongly commend - an utterly beautiful old Hansestadt. | 1 | |
