I'm in Zurich for a day and a half, then need to arrive into Salzburg for a family Christmas 6 days later. So I'm thinking of skiing in Lech and then Kitzbuhel for 3 then 2 days on the way there. How would you do it, and I'm keen for any better ideas? Ski or other ideas or places to see, transport thinking, and accoms enroute would be nice, as would what to buy Aunt Gertrude for Christmas? ;)

Zurich - Langen am Arlberg (train station for Zuers/Lech) takes just 2 hrs by train (1 hr more for the bus ride up to Lech); Langen - Kitzbuehel takes 3 hrs and Kitzbuehel - Salzburg 2 1/2 hrs. As the travel times between these places are rather short, I don't think that you will need accommodation elsewhere.
