if i head to laax/flims snowboarding resort, where is the best place to stay? riders palace? i would like something cheap. also i have a big suitcase should i leave it at the airport? is there a storage place there?

There are luggage lockers at Zurich airport railway station and at Zurich main railway station. But for more than only a few days, this kind of storage would get expensive.

A really great place to stay is the mountain hostel laax. It is right inside the top station of the cable car from Flims (a bit like in that James-Bond-Movie). A young crowd in a hostel-like atmosphere. good food, great sauna, great bar/lounge area and quite cheap (they have specials including the Ski-pass and half board). You can take all your luggage there, there is enough space to store it. You can book it via the official laax page (most booking in laax is meanwhile done via the central laax booking agency).
