Swiss Walking Maps

I've stayed at 2 hotels in the Meiringen area.

Hotel Baer right in Meiringen and Hotel Gletscherblick up above Meiringen in Goldern. There's a cable car from Meiringen to take you up to the Hasliberg. Both are 2-3 star and both include breakfast (or did last time). The half board is excellent value at Hotel Gletscherblick. Your budget seems a bit low though for Swiss hotels.

If you plan to make treck from Meiringen to Kandersteg you should visit this site :http://h2h.eurohiker.net/section_c.shtml There is almost everything you need to know to prepare your treck - and it is in English ;-)

When did you plan to make this treck ? Because I will be on the same road from July the 12th.
