Hi all

I'm on a round the world trip and will be in Europe in June, July and August and was hoping to do some summer glacier skiing and snowboarding in the French, Italian, Austrian or Swiss Alps.

Does anyone know a good place for intermediates with long runs and terrain parks? I've heard a bit about Tignes, Stubai and Saas-Fee, but not much.

The wrong time for boarding in Europe, I know, but I'm coming from the Canadian Rockies and South American Andes, where I've developed a kean interest (ie obsession!) in the sport.

Thanks in advance

Marty

For Switzerland: Zermatt and Saas Fee .

I haven't done any summer skiing myself, but as far as I know there are a few places in the Alpes (Tignes and Zermatt) and also Swedish Riksgränsen (only Midsummer).
Late season/summer skiing

Check Zermatt, Breuil-Cervinia, Saas Fee, Hochsoelden, Stubaier Gletscher, Pitztal, Kaunertal, Hintertux, Les 2 Alpes, Tignes.
