I'm living in Switzerland. If you will visit Switzerland you can se, here are living a lot of people from over the world. White people, black people. They are walking in the streets by day and by night time. Switzerland is a safe country, don't worry, probably safer as where you come from. If you travel around may you will se a skinhead it's possible, but he will not attack you. At the moment we got a lot of refuges from Africa. In bigger city's like Zurich is it possible, when you are collared, that the police will ask you where you are from. But that will not happen very often. Some of the refuges are illegal here and some do handling with drugs. Just take always an ID card with you. In smaller city's or villages is it safer than in a big city's, it' like everywhere in the world. But here you can walk home drunk at 4 O'clock in the morning, nobody will touch you. This is not the Bronx, or Rio de Janeiro. Just visit Switzerland and you will see…it's nice and safe.
Ahh.. at the end, about "Innere Sicherheit" did you also check the report from the radical left wing scenic? It's bigger and stronger...

The only time I felt unsafe in Switzerland was when I camped in a paddock in the middle of the loudest thunder storm I have ever expereinced. I, female, walk and cycle about by myself day or night. No problems. Also, one of the things I like about Switz is the diversity of the population, especially where I live in Basel. Yes, there are racist people about, but they tend to just look disapprovingly at those who are differnet, not be verbal or physical about it.
