I did the Annapurna Cicruit in December - freezing cold but not too crowded. The number of places to stay did make me think it must be packed in high season. I'm thinking of doing the Mont Blanc Circuit in August. Will it be packed out? I fancy the Haute Route but can't do that (I'm going with an organised group) as the dates don't work.

What should that mean? Hiking trails are open 24/24 until the first snowfalls. You kann start your hike whenever you like and leave the trail and go to the next bus stop whenever you like.

trecking is a hype at the moment. on the famous treks the huts are fully booked in the season july to august. if your with a organised group they will allready have reservations.
