We are travelling from Como to Geneva and just wanted to book some trains.
Can we direct from Como to Geneva? Where would we have to change?
Any help or usual train websites would be appreciated.

either
from Como San Giovanni railway station via Milano Centrale:
5 to 6 1/2 hrs, 5 daily connections, seat reservation compulsory
or
citybus Como - Ponte Chiasso (Chiasso railway station)
Swiss trains from Chiasso to Geneva at least every hour from 4.46 until 18.33, 6 hrs ride, no reservation needed

enter "via Milano" for the first solution
completely different itineraries from the Northern end of Lake Como (Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna, Colico, etc.).
