Hi, On Wednesday I shall be off across France, staying near Vannes (Brittany) on to a place near Poitier, visit the Loire and on to Beaune which I believe is meant to be really nice; then on to Geneva. After that I shall head down to the Med.

Does anyone know a nice place in the countryside - perhaps near a village - to camp with a van en route and especially near Geneva please?

France and Switzerland are both within the Western European section of Thorn Tree - that's why your questions showed up together. The rules of this forum are a little tricky and not so easy to explain, I know...
