I can highly recommend you a trip from Grindelwald to Zermatt (Eiger/Matterhorn trail). You will pass the impressive north face of the Eiger and will end up on the foot of the famous Matterhorn. Furthermore there is the Europaweg which is pretty famous, too. A great part of the walkers haute route (Zermatt to Chamonix) can be done in 5 days.
