Hi,
My self and my wife have planned for a 5 Day trip to swiss under a Eu rail package called "Top of Swiss" with five free transfers.
We are reaching Zurich International Airport from Muscat on 29 th june morning around 8.00am .
a} Where can we validate our Sector travel tickets?
b] Can i take a train to Inerlaken west ,directly from the station below the airport? or Do i have to travel to Zurich HB for going towards Inerlaken west..
c] If so ,the train fare from Zurich airport station to Zurich HB has to be borne be me or will it come under our sector ticket?
Pls advise
Ashok

I have not the slightest idea what you mean with "sector ticket". If your ticket/rail pass is valid all over Switzerland, it will be valid for journeys beginning at the airport station too, as the latter is part of the network of Swiss Federal Railways. Trains from Zurich airport to Bern every 30 minutes; there you will have to change to a connecting train to Interlaken West - Interlaken Ost. Duration of the whole trip 2 hrs 10 min

Thanks Very much for the quick response. Some more Quire's pls.
a)Since we are going to reach Inrerlaken early , can u pls suggest us some sight seeing advise for rest of the day.
b)Day three of our trip ,from Inerlaken we are having a boat trip to Brienz and from there by Golden Pass Panoramic train to Lucerne.
Is this boat trip is a Hop on Service? or it should be a straight Trip.
c) Pls suggest some sight seeing Ideas for our Lucerne evening also.
d)Day four of our trip is for Mount Pilatus.
In this, once again we are having a boat ride from Lucerne to Alphenstand. Is it a Hop on service or a stright trip?
Pls advise
Regds

I don't quite see the distinction between a hop on service and a straight trip. The boats are unreservable if that's what you mean. And they may or may not call at intermediate piers depending on the timetable. They are scheduled services, not tourist charters.
A short trip from Interlaken - the Schynige Platte. Or a Lake Thun boat trip if you want an extra boat ride.
There is absolutely nothing to see or to do at Interlaken. But an excursion to a nearby mountain, like Schynige Platte (last train back at 17.53) or Harder Kulm (last cablecar back at 18.10) may be an idea.
