We are travelling from Canada to Switzerland. After a few days in Geneva we have 4 days in which would like to see the Swiss Alps.
Currently I am leaning towards the Bernese Oberland - in the vicinity of Interlaken (although I see other posts recommending not staying in Interlaken itself).
We need to come back to Geneva at the end of the trip. Expecting to travel by rail unless there is a great reason to travel by car.
We are 3 fairly fit people who would like to do some hiking, but definitely not serious mountaineering. Also what to see some 'quaint' Swiss villages - we don't get those at home.
Any recommendations where to go ?
Thanks
