Hi everyone,

I was hoping for some help with my itinerary. I'll be in Zurich for 4 days in mid april (arriving 6am on Saturday and flying out at noon on Tuesday). I'm really not sure how long we would need to explore Zurich itself but I am not that keen on going to the museums or zoo as i have been to quite a few and want to maximise my time doing different things.

I'm hoping to explore outside of zurich and can spend some nights outside Zurich, though i'm not sure if im pushing it. Right now there are far too many things to do in very little time. I have considered the Rhine falls, lucerne (though this may be too far?) and Mt Titlis, amongst a million other things.

I'll also be travelling with my brother and we are both adults, if that makes a difference to what we should be planning to do.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Zurich to Lucerne = 45 min direct by train. I wouldn't consider that too far. A return ticket = €48 each which by Swiss standards is quite reasonable.

Zurich to Bern, an hour, abt 50 bucks return.

might want to consider St. Gallen which is about an hour away by train. I think the old Library there is a UN Heritage Site.
