We are planing a trip to Switzerland. We don't have an itinerary yet but we are thinking about:
Stein am Rhein - Rheinfall - Zurich - Lucerne - Inerlaken - Montreux - Zermat - Ticino.

We will travel with a car. We would like to stay in one cottage for a week and making daily trips and hiking (one near Interlaken, one in Ticino).
Any sugestions about accomodation? We travel with a small dog

We also like to take a scenic route by train (Chur - St. Moritz?) Any sougestions with scenic roads.

Thanks.

Scenic train routes:
Almost every railway ligne through Switzerland is scenic. Here are the best ones(in this order of priority):
Glacier Express Zermatt-Brig-Chur-St. Moritz, Bernina-Express St. Moritz-Tirano,
Golden Pass Montreux-Gstaad-Spiez-Interlaken-Lucerne, Voralpen Express Lucerne-Rapperswil-St. Gallen
Old Loetschberg line Berne-Spiez-Kandersteg-Brig, Simplon line Brig-Domodossola-Arona, Centovalli line Domodossola-Locarno,
Gotthard railway Lucerne-Airolo-Lugano-Chiasso,
Mont-Blanc-Express Martigny-Chamonix-St-Gervais (-Geneva).
