We will be visiting Spain for 16 nights. From Tuesday, September 20th (arrive 9:30 AM Madrid) - Thursday, October 6th (depart 11:15 AM Madrid). So we are going to be in Barcelona between Aug 25 and Sep 05. My son is a big fan of the Barca team, and we were hoping to catch a game at the Camp Nou. There was a flight sale in Vancouver a few weeks ago so I took advantage of it and booked a flight in and out of Barcelona . That was the only way to get the deal.
My orginial plan was 7 days in Barcelona and 7 days in Madrid but reading this forumn , it seems to be the consenus that only a few days are needed for Madrid.
