Hello travelers around Europe, what would be the cheapest way to travel by bus in Spain and Portugal in order to visit big and small towns? Next year, I plan to visit the above countries and I know that TGV is not cheap and i am not interested to get anywhere expressly. I am also ready to travel by local slow regular trains stopping on my way with no rush. Are those trains still exit? I know that train has passes but what about buses? Thanks a lot.

Intro: A couple in their late 20s, from Canada, who traveled quite a bit (Asia, Central America, etc.), looking for a 2-weeks itinerary in Spain. Flying to and from Barcelona.

We are two young professionals in desperate need for a vacation, so beaches will be much appreciated!

Also castles? Staying on a vineyard (but at what cost..)?

  • We like to take our time when visiting a country, because we consider that less is more when it comes to travel. However, most itineraries I found on the…

We are excited towerds our trip.
Granada looks great, but we love to be out and have concerns from the weather there in November
If not any other Andelucia recommendation?

We like:
1. City feel but not too big (and authentic)
2. Do a lot of daily trips;
3. Scrolling down the streets, sit in a coffee place ..
4. Restaurants and place where we can find bars or things to do late evening/night

Cheers!!

We are planning 10 days driving in September--round trip Lisbon, south to Faro, Seville for 2 nights, side trip to Gibraltar and on to Alhambra & return to Lisbon. Is that doable or is it too much for 10 days? Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you

Hello everyone,
I'm going to take a two week trip to Andalucia - flying in and out of Jerez. I've been to Andalucia 2-3 times before, but have never to been to Jerez and was only in Sevilla for a day or so. I'm thinking to spend 3-4 days in Jerez, maybe a few days in Sevilla and possibly head to S Portugal. Have previously been to Cordoba, Malaga, Algeciras, Almeria, Guadix and Granada. I'd love to visit the Alhambra again, but I'm not sure I'll be able to fit it in.

Does anyone have…

Hi all,

We are looking to buy a holiday home in Spain, Catalonia however have not yet fully decided where. We love Barcelona and want to be able to visit but do not want to be in the hustle and bustle of a city.

We would like to be in a 'premium' area, along the coastline and ideally no further than 150km from Barcelona.

If anyone has any recommendations of nice towns or villages please do let me know- I look forward to your suggestions.

Thank you in advance
