We've been offered home exchanges in Nerja, on the costa del sol, and l'Escala on the Costa Brava. Neither sounds especially good in July, but hey, free accommodations!
Does anyone have a preference between the two?
We will also be exchanging cars, so we'll be able to get inland. Barcelona and Girona in the north; Sevilla and Granada (and maybe Morocco) in the south. All help is welcomed! Thank you.
I have a 3 day layover in Spain on my way to Morocco for the summer (traveling to Morocco via ferry from Algeciras). I'm not really into art museums (I'm more a fan of drab british landscapes, dutch still-lifes and macabre renaissance painting which isn't really what Madrid is known for- and besides have been to enough art museums I could die tomorrow satisfied with my exposure). Anyhew - I'm planning a short cycling tour of Madrid and also want to check out some authentic flamenco. I'm a…
Hello fellow travellers and experienced expats.... I am going to study Spanish this summer in Salamanca, Spain, and I would love to meet some gay guys around that city, so my two months will flow with much more fun.
Does anybody knows gay places - bars, clubs, etc. - in Salamanca? or if you are young gay guy - respond and may be we´ll meet for a cup of tea or a glass of wine ;) .
I'm going to Spain for 11 days, then Italy for 11 days (Spain first, then flying from Seville to Milan). In Spain, I'll be going from Madrid to Salamanca, then south until I end at Seville. In Italy, I'm starting in Milan, then working my way down to Naples. Should I buy some type of Eurail pass or just use buses and cabs? What would be easiest/most economical? Thanks!
I have 3 sets of coupons (15% off) for the:
Teleferico, Aquopolis, Parque de Atracciones, Parque Warner and Zoo/Aqauarium in Madrid.
PM me and I'll be happy to mail them to you.

Hi there!
Does anyone know of any company that does the campervan relocation service in Spain, similar to what you find in Australia and NZ (pick up a campervan in one location and drop it off in another, just paying for the petrol and additional days)? It might not even be done over here but just wondering....
Cheers!

Just wanted to share.
Me and my friends took a "Mad-Bike" guided bike tour in Madrid!
We had a great time, and are convinced a guided bike tour is one of the best way's to discover a splendid city like Madrid from a different angle. At a comfortable pace you will experience -not only- the Old Quarter and its famous Plaza Mayor but also the best tapas bars in Madrid, as well as many hidden treasures this exciting city has to offer.
The entertaining guides are keen on giving you deeper insights…
I am planning to visit Spain in late October - November and will be travelling with my mother.
We are planning to visit Barcelona for 3 days, one of which would be spent travelling to Figueres to visit the Dali museum, then to head on to Paris on the Elipsos Trenhotel from Barcelona.
Now I notice that the Talgo train actually stops in Figueres on its way to Paris! So it didn't make much sense to be travelling there on a day trip then pass that way again when leaving Spain... and so am looking into…
