Hi there. I've got a midday flight from Alicante airport. I'm staying in Forna, a little village up in the hills above Oliva, and I was wondering if anyone had any transport ideas.
It's notoriously difficult getting to Alicante airport from the coast around here. I do have a bus booked from Oliva to Alicante that is supposed to leave at 7.20AM and arrive Alicante 9.30AM but I'm just a bit worried that if anything goes wrong that I'll end up in trouble.

So I've the second week off of uni and wanted to go away somewhere nice and cheap, just for a couple of days. Malaga has super cheap flights and assuming at that time of year especially it'll be cheap to eat and that as we'll more than likely just stay in a hostel.
Has anyone any advice on what its like weather wise this time of year and if anyone would recommend it/advise against it for 3/4 girls in early 20s just wanting a little uni break.

Im an Australian who is trying to plan trekking the GR11 this year starting in early to mid June.
Is there anyone out there who has completed this trek last year and can answer some questions?
I have the recommended guide book. I have come to terms with the fact I will have to carry a tent, just in case,
but don't want to carry food or cooking stuff. I have to keep my pack down to about 7-8kg
Is it possible to do this trek and get food at every refuge even if they are full? Is early to mid June…
Have received so much fabulous information from this site, just can't decide where to stay in Bilbao, or somewhere along that coastline, we fly in at lunch time, pick up a car, have decided to stay 2 nights here before heading to San Sebastian for 5 nights, but somewhere along that coastline, suggestions please, most places we have booked have been 3 stars thats around our budget or a little more if it is well worth it.
We are diving from Laguardia on route to Madrid, not sure which route we should take, any suggestions, we have never been to Spain before. We will be driving through Burgos, is it worth a stop for a few hours, then we will only have time to visit either Segovia or Avila and stay the night at either one of these towns. The next day we will be driving to Madrid where we will be spending two nights and will do a day trip to Toledo. Looking forward to everybody response.
I want to go hiking with a handicapped friend of mine for one week. We're looking for a base to start our daily routes from, not too difficult. it should not be too remote. Flying into Bilbao and was thinking of hiring a car, from there drive to LaGuardia and then through Pamploma and onto San Sebastian, just wondering if there was any parking in San Sebastian?, as we will be staying there 5 nights before driving to Biarittz and staying there for 2 nights. Any suggestions on anything is more than welcome, first time to Spain.

Planning a trip to Spain and Portugal with my family of 6 this April. Our preliminary itinerary is as follows:
1-5 April - Madrid including day trip to Toledo
6-10 April - Based in Seville, day trips to Cordoba and Ronda
11-13 April - Granada
14-17 April - Barcelona
6 free days
From there we have the option to either go to San Sebastian, or across to Porto and maybe Lisbon. We have had many people recommend we go to San Sebastian however I am not sure if it will be worth it in April.
