I applied for a teacher job in Vitoria. Never been there although I know other Spanish cities, Navarra and Castilla. I wonder how is Vitoria, its atmosphere and most of it its cost of living: is is cheaper than in Bcn or the same average price than, say, in Pamplona? Hi, I have been searching Loquo.com and found a great apartment that I am thinking of renting out for a 10 days in Barcelona. The problem- I am not sure if this is safe to rent out directly to the owner- are there scams on there? The woman wants a deposit. Is there a safe way of going about this? Has anyone had any experience using Loquo? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have been to Europe, Spain a few times on travel and I deem Spain is a beautiful country and cities like Barcelona and Madrid and I'd love to go back for awhile. If you're in Barcelona be sure to check out the Picasso museum as well. Finally I think the best way to get around Spain is by train. If you want to have a holiday abroad, I firstly recommend you go to Spain! That's great!

Hi all, would be most grateful if you could help me out on this one, going to San Sebastian on the 24 of July for a week and as I don't speak any Spanish its unlikely (anything is possible!!) I tried going into the online booking service but it wanted an ID number and 5 digit postcode.....I assume this is for spanish residents only (?).

Me and my girlfriend are flying to Barcelona the 4th of July to spend a month in Spain.

We have been to Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid before (on weekends), so this time we plan to rent a car and see some of the more remote places in the north/west and the south.

Since we are going to stay in Spain for 4 weeks we are on a budget as for as accommodation goes. We plan to bring a tent, but we would like to stay in spanish homes, in hostels, and cheap hotels.

I will be visiting Spain for the first time (actually my first time to Europe!) with my family around Christmas time. We have decided since we only have two weeks to base ourselves out of one of the major cities. We are leaning heavily towards Barcelona but haven't completely made up our minds. Because there will be seven of us and we would like the option of preparing at least some of our meals, we would like to rent an apartment/villa type place for the duration of our stay.
