Good day to all
Please excuse poor grammar/punctuation as i am using a moroccan keyboard. I am travelling to Cadiz in the first couple of weeks in July and am hoping for some temporary work. I will only be there for a maximum two weeks so I will be lucky to get anything however if anyone has any pointers they would be much appreciated. I will do any manual work as my spainish is severely limited. Thanks a lot. Hannah.

Are you Scottish or just living in Scottland? If you have an EU passport, theoretically you can work legally in Spain. However, no Spanish will make it really hard.
Cadiz has a very limited job market. What kind of manual labour did you have in mind? Even waitressing will require some Spanish. Do you have any special skills? I would walk into a couple of Irish pubs and ask if they need English speaking staff. If you do not mind cleaning, sometimes foreign residents who do not speak Spanish are looking for someone to do that that they can communicate with. Also, if you're good with kids au-pairing might be doable - although Spanish helps when dealing with a possible emergency.
I really think cleaning isn't a bad option for you - it pays 7 - 10 euros an hour. If you use your English to communicate with your employer, ask for 10 euros an hour. Good luck - I'm afraid you'll need it.
