Hi,
I'm travelling to south of Spain, with my parents, this July and have pretty much decided on the places I want to see but not sure if I haven't overshot so would appreciate if you all could have a look-see and lemme know what you think of it.
Day 1: Seville (overnight)
Day 2: Seville n evening to Malaga
Day 3: Malaga Sightseeing
Day 4: Nerja caves daytrip
Day 5: Antequera, El Torcal n El Chorro Gorge daytrip
Day 6: Afternoon flight to Barcelona
Day 7: Barcelona
QUESTION:
• Any one gone to El Torcal - is it worth the trip or should I do Granada instead?
Thanks everyone

Raks, this looks like one big rush from place to place to me. I simply cannot imagine how this trip can be pleasurable. Not because the places in Days 1 - 5 aren't pleasurable - they all are. I just think you're going to spend more time travelling from A to B than being at any one of those destinations. They're not just 30 minutes apart.
As an example of what Tony said, Antequera and El Chorro simply cannot be "done" on the same day. The gorge area is nice to walk around in, there are a couple of nice ventas around, then you need to get to Antequera somehow and spend time there, then get back to wherever you're staying.. nahh.

That is the problem I cannot decide where to make a base so I can do a daytrip to the nerja caves n El Torcal. I first thought of staying in Malaga n doing them as daytrips but I now realise Malaga isn't as small a province as I first thought. Any suggestions?
I have already seen Barcelona and going there just 'cause my flight gets out from there.
Thanks

If you have seven days in Andalucía, I would split them between Sevilla, Córdoba and Granada. Granada is a must, I'd say. Sevilla + Córdoba will however be fearsomely hot - not places I'd go to in July.
Well, if OP has a good reason to go to El Torcal, he/she will need a car. For Granada, Sevilla and Cordoba itinerary train is best.
Suiko, if you look carefully, the OP doesn't have 7 days. There's probably just part of Day 1 (arrival in Seville) and then they leave Andalucia on the afternoon of Day 6. At most, 5 days: two half-days and four full days.

There's very limited bustravel from Antequera to El Torcal. But so limited that you will have to come back by bus too soon after arrival without having the time to explore El Torcal.
Two years ago I walked from Antequera to El Torcal .... but if you have only seven days for Spain I don't recommend that.
So I suggest you visit Granada instead.
By the way, El Torcal is nice but Granada offers much more !
