Hotels in October and November in Andalusia

I am planning a visit to Andalusia in October and part of November. I want to visit a number of cities and spend a few days in each. Would I have to make reservations at the different hotels or would it be possible to simply arrive at my destination and hope for a vacancy? I am not looking for high-end hotels and one or two stars would be in my budget.

You will have no problem with any city, but for peace of mind I would be reserving or purchasing the day before, after researching where the accommodation is. You surely will want to be near 'the sites'.
