Hi everyone,
my family is coming to visit me soon in Madrid and therefore I need some information about any hotels, hostales etc... I would need 2 double rooms and one single room. It should be somewhere in the center, not too expensive (of course) and decently clean. They are not too picky people, but still it shouldn´t be totally run down. I am sure, some of you guys have had visitors before and I was wondering, if anyone can recommend a hotel, hostal or something similar. So far I have only had friends over here, who could always sleep in my place, but 5 people is too much to host. So any recommendations. Thanks in advance :-)

How long are they staying and which neighbourhood do you live in? We stayed in a lovely 3-bedroom apartment in Chamberí earlier this year for a week if that's of any use to you. I can send you the details if you like.

Hi,
I cant reccomend 'Hostal Orient' enough. I used to spend alot of time going back and forth to Madrid and always stayed there. Its spotless and has very nice bedrooms. THe last time I stayed, about 6 months ago, it was 55 euro for a double room (total) It is in OPera which is just beside Sol so the location is excellent. Its right across the street from the metro too and less than 5 minute walk to the royal palace, plaza major and of course sol.
I may not have the email exactly right but numbers are correct.
They rooms do vary in size - ask for a room at the front and you'll have a nice view.
THe front door gives the wrong impression - theres a big brown door and it looks a little dodgy - the hostal is on the second floor, so don't be put off.

OP, I've just been through your posting history for the last 6 months. There's a pattern. Seven threads you've started and not once have you ever acknowledged the replies you got. So as far as we can tell you never come back to check your answers. Either that or you were too rude to acknowledge them.
Either way, you can go and waste people's time elsewhere. You won't get any more help from this poster and I hope nobody else feels like posting answers for you.
