Personally I think a day trip to Ronda is enough and instead spend a full day and night in Malaga.

I would go Cordoba, Granada, Malaga, Ronda, Seville

It is about 2 hours from Granada to Malaga.

In fact each segment of the journey is about 2 hours by bus or train.

You could spend one night in Ronda before heading back to Seville.

Ah, I thought the train? I am trying to avoid staying one night somewhere but it looks like I will have to. Just trying to have enough time in each place. So what about this- Cordoba, Granada, then I would travel to Malaga on Friday (when?) (from Granada), have Saturday in Malaga, and leave for Seville Saturday afternoon/evening, stay in Seville 3 nights with one day trip to Ronda maybe Monday or Tuesday, and Wed.pm leave for Fez.

The following may be the way to go...

Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Malaga, Ronda and then Seville and on to Fez.

We did a road trip in March this year flying in and out of Malaga.

Our route was Malaga, Seville, Cordoba, Granada and then back to Malaga for flight home.

Travel between the cities all done by bus booked via www.alsa.es using PayPal to pay as we don't have Spanish bank cards. Got cabs between our hotel and the bus stations in Malaga and Granada - heavy rain in Malaga and distance out of centre in Granada were the reasons for getting those cabs.Passport numbers had to be entered when booking those bus journeys...

Worth booking tickets in advance for Alhambra in Granada - ours were booked in Jan 2017 for March 2017 visit. Sold out sign was up around 9am when we picked our tickets up on day of visit.

We only found out when we were in Cordoba that there are night tours available to go around Mezequita. Was sold out when we were in Cordoba for that weekend - would have booked this in advance if we'd spotted it earlier.

Found that using both Lonely Planet and Rough Guide guides on Andalusia was a good way of planning the trip. We used www.booking.com to sort out accomodation - wished that I'd paid more attention to reviews of the pension we booked into in Seville! Rest of places we stayed in were comfortable and clean with ensuite facilities.

Other advice? Good walking shoes, queue at The Real Alcazar in Seville is usually down to airport style security scanners for both people and bags and bottled water is ridiculously cheap in mini markets. We also found good breakfasts in local cafes at prices lower than the two hotels we used in Malaga and Cordoba.

Pension in Seville didn't do breakfasts and a school group wiped out the breakfast selection in the hostel we stayed in at Granada.

Ronda is on the agenda for next year's return trip - also going back to Seville and taking in Cadiz and Jerez too.

Hope that this helps in some way.

Sorry mistyped my post and couldn't edit.

Seville to Cordoba about 45 mins.
Cordoba to Granada under 3 hours.
Granada to Malaga 2 hours.
Malaga to Ronda 1 &1/2 hrs
Ronda to Seville 3 hours

I think you would be better taking a day trip to Ronda from Malaga (if you don't want to spend a night in Ronda) then you could spend 2 nights in Malaga then head back to Seville. Ronda is quicker to get to from Malaga than it is from Seville but it is on the way to Seville so it seems silly to back track
