I will be flying from BCN to NDR on 14.9.2017. I have heard that the queues for security etc are horrendous.

My flight leaves at 8.05 am. What's the best way to get to the airport early in the morning? I'd like to be there at about 5:30 or even earlier. All suggestions welcome, also for convenient hostel. Many thanks.

I think it has calmed down a bit. But you can take airbus, the details can be found on the airport website, it goes from Placa de Catalunya.
