Hi

I'm visiting Caminito del Rey (very excited).

I'm struggling to find on the website instructions on where to park next to the main entrance (Ardales), as unfortunately due to travel time in car, won't have time to park in El Chorro, get shuttle bus and make our start time.

Any help or map references welcome

Hi, You shouldn't have an issue parking between the Bar mirador/Kiosko and lakeside right down as far as the hotel posada del conde. You can find a map here. http://www.caminodelrey.es/getting-to-el-chorro-the-reservoirs-and-the-camino-del-rey/

Remember that wherever you park your car in this area by the reservoirs you will have about a 30-40 minute walk along the footpath to get to the entrance checkpoint...

Thanks for the advice - great to park at bar mirador area.

Can I check - will the shuttle bus return to this parking area? or another location?

(Travelling from Ronda - for a 11am start on the walk)

Hi, yes the shuttle bus will get you back to the area where you parked the car.....
