Good morning everyone
I will be visiting Barcelona in two weeks. I would like to spend one day doing some shopping for summer/everyday wear clothes and things. I am not looking for branded clothes. Just a few affordable pieces (about 8 euros a piece maybe). I am not looking for second hand clothes either. Could you suggest one place or area I can go to? I will not have time to travel very far from the neighbourhood I am in to go look for shopping places.

In the Portal Del Angel street, next to plaza Catalunya so extremely centric, you ll find both the big stores like Zara and H&M, and stores with branded clothes.
Alternatively, go to one of the shopping centers - Maremagnum next to the Barceloneta metrostop will also have the above chains.
See the answers in your identical threads for Florence & Venice and Prague. Clothes at this price are likely not to have been made in Western Europe, but to have been imported from Asia - perhaps even including Sri Lanka.
