There are some phenomenal Food Tours offered in Barcelona. I typically don't do tours when I travel but in Spain to be honest I really enjoyed Devour Tours because a lot of the Spanish food can be boring, subpar and served badly if not careful and I sometimes don't have weeks to figure out which places are which (and I live in Spain I just can't spend weeks in each place). These tours give you a smattering of the most interesting dishes with a side of culture, history and really entertaining guides. I like to do these in big cities.

In smaller cities I simply hit the Mercados, buy a ton of the most renowned local product and cook them myself in my Airbnb :)
