Hi all!
I am heading off for a short holiday in Barcelona next week (can't wait to get there!) and, seeing that I am 5 months pregnant, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any shops for maternity clothes... My tummy is starting to bulge and so I wanted to get some comfy clothes, undies and swimwear and I think that there is bound to be a better selection in Barcelona than in the tiny Italian town where I live!

There's a chain called Prenatal. If you go here, choose 'Barcelona' then 'Enviar' under the section titled 'Busca tienda' on the left of the page, you will find a list of addresses. The ones you're interested in have 'Barcelona' twice on the left.
You can put the addresses in here to get a map, apart from the ones beginning with 'Centro Cial.' which are shopping centres with that name. L'Illa is probably the easiest to get to if you're staying in the centre.

There is a small central shopping "mall" called Galerias Malda. As I remember there are a lot of women's and children's clothing stores in there. You might find something there. It is not the typical American-style mall (of which there are a few in Barna), but a collection of small shops housed in an old "gallery" type building. It is located in a nice shopping area near Plaza Catalunya and Porta del Angel. You can enter it from Portaferrissa or Plaza del Pi. Visita the "chocolaterias" on Carrer Petrixol while you're at it.
