Travelling to Barcelona 9th March for three nights. Flight is booked Now for accommodation. I'd hope for three nights for total of £100 but struggling to find anything by hostel with shared bathrooms around this price. Am I looking in the wrong places? I don't mind so much staying in a hostel but would prefer private (twin) room and definately not a noisy backpacker hostel!
Any recommendations or advice anyone? I would prefer to be walkable distance to main attractions, not miles out of town

For that price you can forget a regular hotel - you will have to go for a hostel. Yet, looking on booking.com I see loads of hostels for that price and many with good comments - several mention it is a twin room (so no dorms).

These two are fairly well located. but note that the city has an excellent public network service, so location is not that critical, you can be far away but the metro/bus/tramway takes you anywhere quite fast, and cheaply too (See T-10 travelcards
