Anyone know about Hostal Abrevadero, Barcelona?

Hi all, I have just hurriedly booked four nights at the Hostal Abrevadero in Barcelona (via lastminute.com) because it was the only place with a double room vacant next week. Then I read the reviews – is it really that bad? I don't mind if it's not posh – just a regular, clean, plain hostel – but reviews on Tripadvisor etc say it's a squalid fleapit with aggressive staff.

Help?
