Hiya,

Can anyone tell me the general cost for double rooms in July and August in Spain and Portugal?

Areas in general are Logas, Tavira, Cascais, The coast south of Barcelona....

I am having a hell of a time looking for affordable accommodation in summer where I can laze about on a beautiful beach. Is there much out there for under €60 per night? Should I be booking ahead? Can anyone recommend some accommodation?

And yes you should have booked ahead...about 6 months ago. This is the high season and everyone and their sister is heading to the beach.
