2 days hike on October in the Pyrenees

Hi All

I will be at Barcelona the first week of October and I am hoping to make a short two-days hike in the Pyrenees, stopping in one of the refuges for the night. Could someone recommend on such a hike and which of the refuges are open that time of the year? We will a couple that is in good shape but don't plan on a very strenuous hike - around 5 hours or so each day.

I seriously doubt any refuges will be open at that time of the year, good chance of snow. There are some great places to hike in Catalonia without going to the Pyrenees.
